CA 92 - CASA CERAMISTA (sleeps 2/4) Casa Ceramista is a charming apartment built in the traditional Alpujarra style. It shares the same grounds as Casa Artesana (CA91) and is set on the edge of the spectacular Poqueira Ravine, near the lovely white village of Pampaneira. The house gets its name from the potter’s studio that used to be housed below it. This house is ideal for a couple or a couple with two children who wish to explore this area of the Alpujarra.
The apartment is all on one level with a large terrace at the front and is surrounded by lush and fertile gardens, with views of the mountains and the ravine through the trees.
From the terrace one enters a kitchen with large plate glass windows that give the impression you are cooking among the trees!
Desde la cocina accedemos al The living area is made up of a combined sitting and dining room with a wood burning stove and a sofa bed suitable for one or two children.
The living room leads through into the double bedroom and shower room.
Desde el salon accedemos al dormitorio con cama de matrimonio y al cuarto de baño con ducha.
Behind the house on an upper terrace is the swimming pool which is shared with Casa Artesana CA 91.
Along the path between the two houses there is a lovely garden with a small pond.
There is a private parking area on the lower terrace just above the road – this is also shared. However both houses are sufficiently separate to be private and make a perfect holiday retreat. Pampaneira is typical of the villages of the Alpujarra with flat roofed, whitewashed houses forming an intricate maze of tiny streets. It has good facilities with shops, bars and restaurants.
