CA 82 - CASA CORONEL (Sleeps 6) A detached house in the village of Melegis, with a pool, garden and orange groves to the rear, and garage parking if needed, Casa Coronel is a delightful house in which to spend a completely relaxing holiday in the Valle de Lecrín. Seconds away from a small supermarket, a minute away from another and the same to the baker´s; and within easy walking distance of two restaurants, it is ideally situated for all amenities, and unless you want to go further afield, there is no need to leave the village.
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a large salon and dining area, a shower room with WC, and a large fully fitted kitchen. There are French windows to the terraces which run around the house, and from there are steps to the pool and gardens. Beyond the gardens are the citrus groves.
On the first floor there are two twin-bedded rooms, a double bedroom and a large bathroom, all flooded with light. Stairs lead to a tower room from where there are panoramic views across the valley to the hills beyond. At the moment it is used as a studio, and with the windows open and light flooding in, it is a marvellous place to paint. The house has double glazing and central heating, ideal for a winter holiday, and is lovely and warm to come home to after a day on the Sierra Nevada ski slopes, less than an hour away, or a walk on the Mediterranean beaches, half an hour distant.
